3. How We Use Your Information
To respond to enquiries, schedule consultations, prepare proposals and onboard you as a client.
To deliver the professional services you have engaged us for, including registration, filing, advisory and compliance work.
To meet our legal, statutory and regulatory obligations as a professional services firm - including record-keeping mandated by the ICAI, the LLP Act, the Companies Act, the GST Act and the Income-tax Act.

4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal and business data on one or more of the following bases: your consent, performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving our professional services in a manner that is not overridden by your rights.
6. Data Security
Documents shared with us are stored in encrypted vaults with role-based access. Our team members operate under signed confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
We apply industry-standard organisational and technical safeguards - including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, two-factor authentication on critical systems, and periodic access reviews - to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

7. Data Retention
We retain personal and business information for the duration of our engagement and thereafter for the periods required under applicable law - including a minimum of 8 financial years for tax and accounting records under the Income-tax Act and Companies Act.
Records that are no longer required are securely destroyed or anonymised.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion (subject to record-keeping obligations), withdraw consent for non-mandatory processing, and request portability of your data in a structured machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@namuwala.in. We will respond within 30 days. Where we cannot honour a request - for example because we are legally required to retain certain records - we will explain why.
